With Deadpool & Wolverine being the only Marvel movie set to release this year, it’s hard for comic fans to not be excited for it. Deadpool and Wolverine are finally teaming up on the big screen, and the film’s second trailer has been released to show fans what to prepare for. Let’s take a look at all the new information that this new trailer reveals.
Deadpool & Wolverine | Trailer
Loki’s The Void
It looks as though certain scenes from the trailer take place in the Void, the place where all time variants go in the Loki TV series. This is the end of time, so perhaps Deadpool and Wolverine’s adventures across the multiverse don’t go so well for a bit. They’ll even have a run-in with Alioth, a monster made from tears in reality that erases anything it engulfs in the Void. Hopefully this doesn’t mean the main MCU timeline is being decimated as well.
This Wolverine Lost His World
The TVA tells Deadpool that “this Wolverine,” presumably the one we’ll be following for the duration of the movie, lost his world. If this truly is the Wolverine from Fox’s X-Men universe that we know and love, that could mean the movie universe that we’re familiar with is done for. This makes sense since the X-Men are sure to be in the MCU going forward, but it’s still a sad thought. This could also mean that this Wolverine isn’t one we’ve met before, which is fine but also a tiny bit of a let down. Only time will tell which direction they’ve gone in.
Fight Against the TVA
Deadpool and Wolverine are seen fighting the TVA. If the TVA are the ones who hired Wade, why would they be fighting them? Perhaps they don’t fully agree with the way Deadpool wants to go about saving the world.
Cassandra Nova
The first trailer teased a villain that could have been Cassandra Nova, but now we finally have confirmation of her presence in the movie. We get some great looks of her and what she adds to the action. Her telekinetic powers might be too much for our titular heroes, but we’ll hopefully see how they overcome this new threat.

Ant-Man’s Big Head
Ant-Man’s embiggened skull is being used for some sort of base, similar to the skull of a celestial being used for Knowhere in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies. With infinite timelines, anything is possible, even Ant-Man unfortunately being dead. It may be a morbid idea, but it’s also pretty entertaining.
Returning X-Men Villains
Outside of An-Man’s gigantic corpse is a group of villains seen in previous X-Men movies. Among them are Lady Deathsrtrike, Azazel, and Pyro. Pyro was seen in the previous trailer, but more glimpses of the iconic character are always welcome. There are others with them that are hard to make out. One looks to be Toad, but it’s almost impossible to tell from this blink-and-you’ll-miss-it shot. With a team of baddies like this, Deadpool and Wolverine have their work cut out for them.
Dogpool
Dogpool is finally coming to the big screen! Obviously, Dogpool is a dog version of Deadpool. If that doesn’t win you over, then nothing would. He looks adorable here as he licks Wade’s face. Wade’s love of this dog is sure to lead to some big laughs and heartfelt moments during the movie.

Wizard Portals
Deadpool and Wolverine are seen jumping into a portal identical to the ones used by Dr. Strange and other wizards in the MCU. This could mean that Dr. Strange or another wizard may appear. It could also just mean that the two will literally enter the universe of the MCU using a Sling Ring they somehow come across. Either way, it’s clear that Marvel Cinematic Universe elements will be heavily used in a Deadpool movie, which is just plain fun.
