A New Boba Fett Series Announced

A new TV series focused on the iconic Star Wars bounty hunter is on its way to Disney+. The show will be titled The Book of Boba Fett and is planned to release December 2021. It will be set within the timeline of The Mandalorian and will star Temuera Morrison as the titular character.

Not much is known regarding plot details, but the series is currently in production. This comes after the many Disney Investor Day announcements including several other Star Wars projects.

The Nerds Will Get Their Revenge… Again!

A Revenge of the Nerds reboot is currently in development at 20th Century Studios. Family Guy’s Seth MacFarlane is set to produce through his production company Fuzzy Door, and Keith and Kenny Lucas are set to write and star in the film.

The movie is reportedly not going to be a full-on remake of the 1984 classic comedy, but will serve as a contemporary reimagining that will commentate on today’s nerd culture. There is no release date planned as of yet, so it might still be awhile before we see any more news on the project.

Disenchantment Part 3 Release Date Revealed

The Netflix medieval animated series, Disenchantment, finally has a release date for Part 3, and it’s sooner than you may think. New episodes of the Matt Groening-created series will hit the streaming service January 15th of 2021.

Disenchantment follows the style of comedy of Groening’s past creations, The Simpsons and Futurama, and uses an animation style closer to that of Futurama. The previous season was left on a bit of a cliffhanger, so we’ll soon be able to see what happens with Bean, Elfo, and Luci, as well as experience more big laughs.
