The Best 2025 Super Bowl Ads Ranked

One of the biggest nights in television, the Super Bowl, took place over the weekend. Of course, the commercials were the best part. Let’s take a look at how the best ads from 2025’s Super Bowl rank against each other.

10) Hellman’s “When Harry Met Hellman’s”

When Sally Met Hellmann’s – Big Game :60

Hellman’s ad hit a lot of the right notes. It recreates an iconic movie scene with the original actors, it’s funny, and it makes their product seem awesome. What really put this one above others that didn’t make the list is Billy Crystal saying “This one’s real.” It makes a funny reference to a genuinely hilarious joke. Plus, showing Hellman’s mayonnaise as being that enjoyable is marketing genius.

9) Coors Light “Slow Monday”

Coors Light – Slow Monday :60 – Big Game Commercial 2025

Sloths moving slowly is hardly a new or unique joke, but it’s still a solid one. It’s also used quite well here, and it’s paired swimmingly with great visual gags. The message that drinking a Coors Light can be relaxing is certainly enough to win over consumers, so it’s clear that this is both an entertaining and successful commercial.

8) Little Caesars “Whoa!” with Eugene Levy

Whoa!

Eugene Levy is an actor known for his bushy eyebrows, and this is a great way to poke fun at that. It’s very silly and sort of weird, making it hard not to laugh at. There’s also such an emphasis on how good the Crazy Puffs are that it made me want to try them, so there’s success there. Seeing the antics of flying eyebrows proved to be surprisingly fun and creative. Who knew?

7) Pringles “The Call of the Mustaches”

Pringles | The Call of The Mustaches

This one is more of a follow-up to the previous Little Caesars ad, but it one-ups it in almost every way. Not only is there more star power with multiple big names (including Mr. Potatohead), but there’s also a funny song and a decent quip at the end. The thought of blowing in the Pringles can is what makes this all happen is hilarious in itself. It’s also worth noting that, for some reason, mustaches are funnier than eyebrows. As an advertisement, I suppose it shows people (or mustaches) flocking to get Pringles and therefore wants the consumer to do the same. It’s clever, but doesn’t actually say much about the product.

6) Doritos “Abduction”

Abduction

Doritos pretty consistently brings the best Super Bowl ads, and this year is no different. It’s filled with hilarious slapstick, and the premise is simple yet entertaining. The special effects are also rather impressive. The spaceship being split in half is a hilarious stinger to end on. Showing how hard this abductee is willing to fight for his bag of chips shows how much they’re worth getting your hands on. This is definitely another win for Doritos.

5) Liquid Death “Safe for Work”

Liquid Death ‘Safe For Work’ Big Game Commercial

Liquid Death is already a humorous product in that the cans of water resemble alcohol. An ad that takes advantage of that is perfect. Seeing folks drinking in what situations that would be inappropriate for alcohol is genuinely funny. It also tells you exactly what their product is for those who are unaware. This is a rather brilliant one for how clever it is when it comes to the humor and the information.

4) Tubi “Cowboy Head”

Tubi | Cowboy Head (:30) | Super Bowl LIX

A lot of folks didn’t seem to like this one, but I absolutely loved it. It’s delightfully bizarre. I want to touch the flesh hat. It’s so weird that I watched the commercial with my jaw hanging open. It’s something that will live in my head for a while, and it’s something people will talk about. The idea that regardless of what you’re interested in, it’s on Tubi is a great way to advertise the free streaming service. That being said, it wasn’t clear as to what was being advertised until the very end, so it unfortunately barely misses being in my top three.

3) Totino’s Pizza Rolls “Goodbye Chazmo”

[BANNED Extended Cut] Totino’s Big Game Ad

The commercial for Totino’s Pizza Rolls cleverly has a bag of the pizza rolls on screen for most of the run time, so you know exactly what they’re selling. It’s also easily one of the funniest Super Bowl ads in the last handful of years. The dark humor here is exceptionally strong, and it tells a bit of a story. Having Tim Robinson and Sam Richardson from I Think You Should Leave, one of the funniest shows on TV currently, is just icing on the cake. Chazmo’s demise is so shocking that it’s hard not to laugh.

2) Mountain Dew Baja Blast “Kiss From a Lime”

Kiss From a Lime ft. SEAL, Becky G

Mountain Dew is another company that almost never misses with their Super Bowl ads, and this one is exceptional. This is the commercial that everyone has been talking about this year, and for good reason. Seal being an actual seal is hilarious, and the change in song lyrics makes it that much funnier. Pausing for the sharks only adds to the hilarity. It’s weird in the right ways, and prominently shows the product being drunk and desired. There’s no doubt that this one might go down in the Super Bowl ad history books.

1) Instacart “We’re Here”

“We’re Here” Big Game Spot I Instacart

Nostalgia sells. Crossovers sell. This ad has both of those and does it in spectacular fashion. Seeing popular commercial mascots together is oddly exciting, and revisiting some favorites like Puppy Monkey Baby and the Old Spice guy was pleasantly surprising. Ending with the Got Milk cow, one of the most well-known ad campaigns ever, was genius. This commercial is everything the movie Food Fight wanted to be, and it’s only 30 seconds long. The ad’s message being that all of these products can be brought to you with Instacart is brilliant. It’s not quite the funniest ad this year, but it might be the most successful one with its messaging while still being entertaining.
