Playing a game while waiting for food to arrive at a restaurant can be great fun, but something like Dice Throne takes up a lot of space when those appetizers are brought over.

There are always ways around issues like this, but this Pack O Game series is the perfect fix. Each of these games easily fits in a purse, pocket, or bag that you would already be taking with you. There are even carrying cases sold by Perplext specifically to hold multiple Pack O Games at a time. It’s also worth noting that the cards themselves typically don’t need a massive play space. They really are the ideal games to take on the go.

The world of tabletop gaming could definitely use more unique ideas like this. Of course, more well-made travel-sized games will always be welcome, but anything that fits the specific needs of the tabletop gaming community in general may be on to something brilliant. That could mean more small games that are easy to take on the go like this, but it could also mean games that are meant to fit on a shelf a specific way, games that take up less table space, or games that have boxes organized a certain way. Finding some sort of gimmick like this while also making entertaining and thought-provoking games can be a huge plus.
